CHUBB, Ralph
Autumn Leaves. Two Fragments. Written, illustrated, and lithographed by Ralph Chubb in his woodland studio at Fair Oak Cottage, Ashford Hill, near Newbury, Berkshire.
Ashford Hill, self-published, 1940 = No place, Anthony Reid, 1970. 32 x 25 cm. Original wrappers. (24) p. Twelve lithographs designed and printed by Ralph Chubb for a grand project in 1940. A plea for freedom, a philosophical story about mankind in the form of an innocent child - but only a fragment of Chubb's planned masterpiece, The Child of Dawn.
